Mustard Oil is a very essential ingredient and mostly used in India. It comes from the seeds of the mustard plant. Its colour is yellow and its flavour is pungent. In India, every home has this because Indians believe it is a natural remedy which is a helpful remedy to treat cold, boost immunity, encourage hair growth, provide nourishment to the skin. Mustard oil used for cooking in India. It is used for frying, as a flavouring because of its preservative qualities.

Mustard oil contains nutritions around 60% monounsaturated fatty acids(MUFA), 6% the omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid(ALA) and 15% the omega-6 linoleic acid, 42% erucic acid and 12% oleic acid, 21% polyunsaturated fats(PUFA), and it has about 12% saturated fats.

It gives benefits but if you use its High Quantity of then it is harmful to your body. Most consumed of everything is harmful.

Relief from Cough and Cold

Mustard oil is an old and natural remedy to relief from cough and cold. It has heating property that helps in clearing congestion from the respiratory tract. You can use mustard oil steam treatment. and also a mixture of few drops warm mustard oils and two to three cloves of garlic and rub it on your feet to relief from cold and cough. 

Relief from Body Pain

It has anti-inflammatory properties which help to reduce body pain. It also contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA),  a type of omega-3 fatty acid that decrease inflammation.

You can use mustard oil in winter on your skin because it has heating properties. It contains antibacterial and antifungal properties, that can help treat rashes and infections naturally. You should massage your body with oil and Use it after bathing to protect your skin. It can be removing tan and dark spots, and give you bright skin.
